• The Beginning

    Bag-making has always held a special place in my life.
    I grew up in Transylvania, where craftsmanship has deep roots. Even as a child, I was surrounded by people who understood and loved working with their hands, and who taught me that creating something requires patience, attention, and heartfelt dedication.

    During high school, my grandmother taught me how to sew, and this passion has accompanied me ever since. What I once experienced as mere play and curiosity has now become one of the most important parts of my life. This is how the desire was born within me to create bags with my own hands—bags that are not only practical but also carry a piece of a story, a small part of myself.

    In 2022, I moved to Budapest to try my luck and further develop my skills. The vibrancy, diversity, and inspiring creative community of the capital opened up countless new directions for me. I had the opportunity to learn from excellent professionals and experienced seamstresses, all of whom contributed to the person I am today—and to what my brand has become.

  • The Brand

    I initially made my first pieces just for myself, yet I kept returning to sewing again and again. Eventually, in 2023, I decided to create my own brand.

    For me, Palacsi is much more than a business: it is a connection to my roots and to the people who have inspired me throughout my life. The craftsmanship traditions of Transylvania, my grandmother’s teachings, the knowledge of my mentors, and the professional experience I gained in Budapest—all of these are present in every single piece.

    I create each bag with the goal that the person who carries it receives not just an accessory, but a lovable companion for everyday life. The greatest joy for me is knowing that my work brings happiness to others, and that my bags truly become a part of their daily lives.
